OMK Announces Appointment of New Chief Executive Officer

The United Metallurgical Company is announcing the appointment of Petr Trushin as its Chief Executive Officer. He replaces Sergey Toropov that had been managing the company since February 2021.

Since 2008, Petr Trushin has held various positions with the Company, such as division manager for business system development, director for goal setting and assessment, director for efficiency and effectiveness. He has also held management positions with internal control and business process efficiency. Between February 2017 and June 2019 he had been a member the OMK Governance Board. Since July 2019, he has been a member of the OMK Board of Directors. Before OMK, he had been employed with SUEK and PwC.

Petr N. Trushin was born in 1982. In 2005, he graduated from the Higher School of Economics National Research University in Moscow with a degree in Management. In 2018, he was awarded a certificate of recognition by the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade.

"Petr Trushin knows this company well. He has such important qualities as being a team player as well as demanding, has an organized approach, leadership qualities, willingness to take ownership. As Chief Executive Officer, Petr will focus on bringing further improvements to the Company's management processes and the Company's long-term efficiency," noted OMK Board Chair Anatoly Sedykh.
