Baltic Pipeline System

The project has been implemented by Transneft Joint Stock Company. It consists of a system of main oil pipelines connecting the fields in Timan-Pechora, Western-Siberian and regions with the port of Primorsk and Ust-Luga in the Leningrad Region. The oil pipeline’s planned capacity is 74 million tons of oil per year.

OMK role in the project
The Baltic Pipeline System holds a prominent place in the impressive line of strategic pipeline mega projects for which OMK delivers large diameter pipes. We supplied more than 85 000 tons of large diameter pipes for the project.

The Baltic Pipeline System is intended for exporting Russian oil in the north-western direction for the markets in Europe and the USA. The oil pipeline has also contributed to reducing transit risks for oil transportation.
