BAZ Re-Confirms Compliance with International Quality Management Standards

The Blagoveshchensk Valve Plant (AO BAZ, Republic of Bashkortostan, a United Metallurgical Company (AO OMK, Moscow) subsidiary) re-confirmed compliance with international quality standards. This is evidence that the facility's quality management system is fully compliant with the international requirements of API Specification Q1 and ISO 9001:2015 applicable to manufacturers in the oil and gas sector.

BAZ obtained its first certification from the American Petroleum Institute back in April 2018 and has been confirming compliance with its high standards on an annual basis ever since. The scope audited by the American Petroleum Institute includes the facility's entire process sequence for pipeline valving, from feedstock and material procurement to finished product storage.

"The certification is evidence of effective and efficient management of product quality at the Blagoveshchensk Valve Plant and the ability to meet the requirements of our facility's international customers in the best possible manner", commented AO BAZ Managing Director Andrei Eliseyev.
