OMK Named Russia’s Best Pipe Manufacturer for Oil and Gas Again

Based on 2016 results, the United Metallurgical Company (AO OMK, Moscow) was named the best Russian manufacturer of tubular goods for oil and gas in the Oil and Gas Pipe category.
OMK defended its leadership status based on a rating compiled by the Coordination Committee of Oil and Gas Industrial Consumers. The rankings were based on a survey of over 30 companies in the industry including Gazprom Gazpromneft, Surgutneftegaz, Sibur, and other energy leaders. The awards were presented at the 12-th Oil and Gas Procurement Conference held in Moscow on March 16, 2017.

The Oil and Gas Procurement Conference was attended by managers of the procurement functions of the largest oil and gas companies: Gazprom, Transneft, Rosneft, LUKOIL, Surgutneftegaz, Gazpromneft, Tatneft, Russneft, Bashneft, Novatek, Sibur, and others.
