The Dzhubga-Lazarevskoye-Sochi is Russia’s first internal offshore gas pipeline.
It stretches for 171.6 km, and 90% of the route is offshore. The gas pipeline runs along the Black Sea’s bottom along the seaside at a distance of approximately 4.5 km from the shore.
OMK role in the project
The company has produced 20 000 tons of large diameter pipes (diameter — 530-1420 mm) for the project. They are capable of sustaining a pressure of 9,8 MPa.
The pipeline has provided a reliable gas supply for Sochi and the Tuapse District which contributed to making the region more attractive for tourists.
